I Am: Resurrection

Resurrection Sunday we look at Jesus words to Martha during the death and resurrection of her brother Lazarus.  We examine Jesus' words in the light of not just life and death... but prayer as the key to grasping and living resurrection.

I AM - Light

Jesus makes the claim: I am the light of the world, 3 times in the Gospel of John.  Primarily he does this on the last day of the Festival of Tabernacles in John 8.  Many fascinating discoveries are found as we observe what Jesus was doing when he makes this claim.

I AM: Bread

Jesus' first I AM statement - I am the bread of life is found a few times in the Gospel of John.  We look at the four occurrences and layer them over the Two Questions and Two Answers from our Exodus Study: Who am I? - I will be with you //  Who are you?  I am.

This week we begin a new series based on the 7 I am Statements of Jesus in the Gospel of John.  
But before we get to those statements, we need to see how the I AM "Name" comes about.

Trinity: Anti-Trinity

This week we look at an anti-trinity of sorts: the Devil, the World, and the Flesh.  This teaching, based off John Mark Comer's book: Live No Lies.  We use this book as a framework to consider these three New Testament concepts that corrupt our hearts, minds and souls away from the table of the Father, Son and Spirit.
